According to AM General this next generation Humvee has an increased load capacity of 2 and a half tons! The brakes are bigger and new steering gear and idler and pitman arms. It looks like they are beginning to use a lot of the H1 Alpha improvements on the vee.
It looks like Hummer is coming out with the H3T after all. It is expected to be available in the 2009 model year. I think that it would have been better had they stuck a little closer to the concept H3T, but that never happens! Here are some pictures and a video of it…
